Imola GP Review - Do We Have A 3-Way Battle Moving Forward?

Did you know there was a 100% chance of a safety car last weekend? *rolls eyes*
It wound up being a very tame race with not a lot of on-track battles that produced thrilling racing, but watching the timing boar gave a bit of a jolt near the end of the race as Lando Norris made a charge at Max Verstappen for the win. Max holds him off at the end, but this could mean that we have hope for the rest of the season that not only McLaren, but Ferrari can challenge for race wins too. Many Formula 1 teams brought upgrades to Imola but only a few of them made any impact, and could this be the start of another mid-season slump for Sergio Perez? What a difference a year makes. In 2023, McLaren spent the Miami GP weekend at the back of the grid and this year they're standing on top. Congrats to Lando on his first F1 win as that was quite an emotional experience for all of us fans. There was so much to talk about, so clean out your ears and thank you for your patience as we were late to release this episode.

Hulkenberg to Sauber, Newey Leaving Red Bull? Miami GP Race Week!

It is race week again, but dominating the news were Nico Hulkenberg and Adrian Newey. Hulk gets a multi-year deal to join Sauber (soon to be Audi) starting in 2025 which opens his seat at Haas for the open arms of [likely] Oliver Bearman. But shortly after being hit with that news, we find out that Adrian Newey, CTO at Red Bull and responsible for decades of F1 success with multiple teams, has announced his intentions to leave the team - with an announcement to be made as soon as this week!?
We also spend a few minutes dissecting the track at Miami and as always, we make our predictions for top 5 / bottom 5. Brady sits in first with 69 points, John with 68, and Tom with 63.

Chinese GP Review - Verstappen Dominates

It's Max Verstappen's world and we are all just living in it. It's hard to believe he was lapping 1s+ per lap faster than EVERYONE. We had mixed feelings about whether or not we liked this race, but one thing's for sure - Brady needs to send Lance Stroll a "thank you" note for cashing in the 3-pointer on the front wing change. Lando Norris wowed us, but penalties and safety car restarts had us all scratching our heads.

Chinese GP Preview - Will We Be Surprised This Weekend?

In this episode, Brady recounts his homework assignment and gets us familiar with the Shanghai track and how it was to drive in the simulator. We also spend time discussing Fernando Alonso's surprise move to sign a contract extension with Aston Martin and Andretti continuing to push forward with their bid to join the grid by opening a facility in Silverstone. Lots of questions going into the first sprint weekend of the season - especially at a track that has not been visited since 2019. Having only one practice session before sprint qualifying and the chance for weather to play a role, we might be in for a real treat this weekend where teams have to figure it out on-the-fly. 2024 Japanese GP Preview

It's #F1 race week! Suzuka always hypes us up to be a fantastic event and we all love the track layout. Will Red Bull be back on top this week? Can Yuki deliver in his home race? All of these topics plus we submit our top 5 / bottom 5 and 3-point shots for the #JapaneseGP.
